Responsibilities
- Extend LI.FI’s API stack to include Hyperliquid ecosystem projects.
- Design, build, and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Work with MongoDB, Redis, and MySQL to support high-throughput trading workflows.
- Collaborate with the Expansion PM and backend engineers to improve integrations.
- Ensure robust backend code with a focus on scalability and performance.
- Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in crypto, ideally in DeFi or trading systems.
- Strong backend engineering background with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Database experience with MongoDB, Redis, and MySQL.
- Familiarity with Hyperliquid architecture and protocols.
- Solid understanding of orderbook mechanics and programmatic trading features.
- Experience with EVM-based protocols and backend system integrations.
- Ability to drive integrations with minimal oversight in a remote team.
- Cross-chain experience is a strong plus.
