Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery for ServiceNow SAM and HAM, including the Content Library, normalization engines, and reconciliation processes.
- Translate ITAM business processes into automated workflows supporting license reclamation and cost avoidance.
- Build, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations with Coupa, Okta, JAMF, Intune, Salesforce, Workday, Adobe, and custom software vendors using IntegrationHub.
- Maintain hardware lifecycle workflows and keep Asset and CI tables synchronized according to CSDM best practices.
- Implement HAM Pro capabilities including Hardware Model Normalization, Mobile Asset Tracking, and Asset Inventory Audit workflows.
- Manage Cloud Cost Management workflows for AWS and GCP spend visibility and optimization.
- Integrate financial data from Workday and NetSuite to identify tail spend and shadow IT.
- Design dashboards and Performance Analytics widgets covering compliance, cloud savings, and hardware refresh cycles.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, including at least 2 years focused on SAM and HAM.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is required; CIS-SAM or CIS-HAM certification is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ITAM processes including procurement, deployment, harvesting, and disposal.
- Expertise in the ServiceNow SAM data model, CMDB, CSDM, Software Models, Entitlements, and Discovery Models.
- Proven Cloud Cost Management or optimization experience with AWS and GCP.
- Hands-on experience with out-of-the-box SaaS connectors and custom integrations using REST/JSON and IntegrationHub.
- Technical proficiency in ServiceNow scripting, JavaScript, GlideRecord, Flow Designer, and Scheduled Jobs.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Discovery, JAMF, and Intune and their role in normalization.
- Ability to troubleshoot normalization and reconciliation issues by comparing raw discovery data with library content.
