Responsibilities
- Build and improve modern web applications, backend services, APIs, and data models.
- Work across frontend, backend, and infrastructure according to client project needs.
- Advise clients on suitable technologies, architecture, and delivery approaches.
- Contribute to cloud environments, deployments, production quality, and development workflows.
- Debug, test, monitor, and improve production-grade systems.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, designers, product teams, and other disciplines.
- Clarify ambiguous requirements and turn them into working software.
- Take responsibility for delivery while supporting the team.
Requirements
- Strong experience with modern frontend development, such as TypeScript, JavaScript, React, or comparable technologies.
- Strong experience with backend service development using technologies such as Node.js, Java, Kotlin, Scala, Clojure, Python, or comparable technologies.
- Experience building, shipping, and improving production-grade digital products.
- Ability to work across implementation, testing, deployment, and production operations.
- Understanding of cloud environments, deployments, and production systems.
- Ability to work directly with clients and stakeholders in a senior, consultative role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations.
- Hands-on technical approach with the ability to contribute actively and help teams move forward.
- Fluent written and verbal English.
- Experience with customer-facing products, online services, ecommerce, subscriptions, internal platforms, analytics, martech, high-traffic systems, integrations, SDKs, or developer tooling is advantageous.
- Deeper experience with platform engineering, infrastructure-as-code, or DevOps practices is advantageous.
- Familiarity with mobile development or React Native and Finnish language skills are advantageous.
