Responsibilities
- Write, test, and deploy Python code for model features, complex dataset analysis, algorithm and quantitative-code optimization, and data orchestration.
- Enable quantitative research and trading activities using data science, data analysis, and engineering skills.
- Partner with Quantitative Researchers on revenue-generating projects and coding tasks that accelerate project delivery.
- Develop expertise in Susquehanna’s systems, research needs, and quantitative trading business.
Requirements
- Degree in a STEM subject.
- At least 4 years of professional Python experience with practical algorithm-design and programming problem-solving experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with data manipulation libraries such as Pandas, Polars, or PySpark.
- Experience working in a Linux environment.
- Ability and desire to collaborate closely with quantitative researchers and accelerate research.
- Strong self-management, motivation, process-improvement, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail, adaptability to changing priorities, and general interest in quantitative trading.
