Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test scripts based on business requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing.
- Create and maintain test data, test environments, and automation scripts.
- Perform white-box, black-box, integration, UI, API, backend, and functional testing.
- Support quality ownership, defect reporting, issue tracking, and continuous improvement in cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in quality engineering, software testing, or test automation.
- Experience with UI and API automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, or Postman.
- Experience with at least one programming or scripting language: Java, Scala, Python, or JavaScript.
- Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
- Proficiency in Behaviour-Driven Development and Test-Driven Development approaches.
- Basic understanding of Docker containers and CI/CD processes.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, or GitLab.
- Strong understanding of API testing, backend validation, functional automation, defect lifecycle, reporting, and issue tracking.
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum processes, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
