Responsibilities
- Develop software and infrastructure for DisneyPlus.com and Hulu.com commerce experiences, including signup, account management, and subscription management.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical investigations.
- Collaborate with Senior and Lead Engineers on features for Disney+, Hulu, and Star+.
- Partner with UX to transform mock-ups into engaging, accessible web experiences.
- Serve as a high-level technical resource for complex technical challenges and system improvements.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience developing large, well-tested JavaScript applications.
- Strong understanding of web technologies and the browser environment.
- Excellent front-end debugging skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred: experience shipping production React/Node.js applications.
- Preferred: experience developing applications on cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Preferred: working knowledge of web accessibility fundamentals.
