Base Salary
$141k - $226k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement test automation frameworks for Unity VR applications, backend APIs, and connected web components.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting continuous testing and deployment across the VR stack.
- Build test coverage across unit, integration, end-to-end, and non-functional testing levels.
- Create test plans covering realistic training scenarios, performance benchmarks, and hardware-in-the-loop requirements.
- Analyze automation results, investigate failures, and lead issue triage with cross-functional teams.
- Improve test velocity, code quality, deployment safety, and developer feedback through engineering best practices.
- Embed quality automation into daily software development workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development or test automation, ideally in immersive technology, gaming, or simulation environments.
- Proficiency in C# and experience testing Unity-based applications.
- Experience building automated tests and CI/CD pipelines for VR client, backend, and web systems using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar systems.
- Familiarity with Appium, Selenium, NUnit, or custom Unity testing frameworks.
- Ability to investigate performance, interaction fidelity, and device-specific issues.
- Clear collaborative communication skills with strong ownership and initiative.
