  • Work on multi-region GCP infrastructure using GKE, global load balancing, autoscaling, Helm, and GitLab CI.
  • Contribute to gateway and edge security, API key and JWT issuance, dependency hygiene, secret management, and least-privilege IAM.
  • Design event-sourcing models, Pub/Sub topologies, schemas, service boundaries, and contract-first OpenAPI APIs.
  • Support production observability, distributed-flow debugging, incident response, and zero-downtime deployments.
  • Participate in design reviews, platform RFCs, documentation, runbooks, and architectural decisions.
  • Use AI tooling in development while maintaining appropriate secrets, audit trails, and data boundaries.

  • Hands-on experience building shared platform libraries or Spring Boot starters consumed by other teams.
  • Strong infrastructure and DevOps experience on a major public cloud, preferably GCP, including production Kubernetes, GKE, Helm, multi-region deployments, autoscaling, and rollbacks.
  • Daily Terraform experience managing service modules, IAM, networking, Pub/Sub, and Cloud SQL.
  • Experience with hosting and application security, including gateway and edge policies, secret management, dependency scanning, and IAM hygiene.
  • Deep PostgreSQL experience with schema design, indexing, query plans, migrations under load, and JSONB-heavy data modeling.
  • Experience designing event-sourced systems and asynchronous messaging with idempotency and ordering considerations.
  • Experience with contract-first APIs using OpenAPI and production observability and incident response on GCP.
  • Strong unit and integration testing practices using real PostgreSQL and Pub/Sub dependencies.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and the ability to document designs, RFCs, and operational procedures.
  • Preferred qualifications include GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification or equivalent, gRPC, Envoy, GKE Gateway API, internal developer platform or golden-path experience, React or Next.js knowledge, and experience in IP management, legal-tech, or regulated B2B SaaS.
