Responsibilities
- Operate Legion’s AWS cloud platform and Kubernetes/EKS environments.
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform.
- Develop infrastructure automation and internal tooling using Go or Python, including GenAI-assisted automation and auto-remediation.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment safety using Git-based workflows and tools such as Argo or Jenkins.
- Define and improve monitoring, alerting, and observability systems.
- Respond to production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement systemic reliability improvements.
- Automate operational runbooks and remediation workflows.
- Support production deployments, including during off-hours as needed, and participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or SaaS production operations.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience operating large-scale production workloads in AWS.
- Strong experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- At least 5 years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes, preferably EKS, plus familiarity with Helm.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or a similar programming language.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD systems, including Git-based workflows, Argo, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Strong Linux/Unix systems experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred qualifications include observability experience with Datadog, CloudWatch, ELK, or Prometheus; AWS RDS or Aurora MySQL administration; SLI/SLO implementation; distributed-team experience; SOC 2 or ISO 27001 audit support; and AWS certification.
