Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain automation that reduces repetitive operational work and improves DevOps and SRE workflow efficiency.
Develop AI-assisted tools and agent-based workflows for incident triage, troubleshooting, knowledge retrieval, operational reporting, and runbook assistance.
Connect LLM services with internal systems through APIs and orchestration tooling, including validation, access controls, auditability, and human approval for sensitive actions.
Improve CI/CD, GitOps, infrastructure as code, cloud platform tooling, security controls, and observability.
Own automation and AI improvements from proof of concept through production while assessing reliability, adoption, and operational impact.
Support the reliability, performance, security, and availability of production cloud services.
Troubleshoot incidents, support deployments and changes, contribute to root-cause analysis, and prevent recurring issues.
Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation, including responses outside normal working hours when rostered.
Collaborate with engineering, security, operations, and global Software Operations teams to identify automation opportunities and guide practical AI adoption.

Senior hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud, platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure automation with production ownership.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, Linux, Kubernetes, preferably GKE, and infrastructure as code such as Terraform.
Experience with CI/CD, Git-based delivery, Jenkins, and GitOps principles; familiarity with FluxCD or Argo CD.
Strong scripting and development skills, especially Python, including REST APIs and programmatic system integrations.
Experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK, or cloud-native observability.
Practical experience building or integrating LLM-powered tools or AI-assisted automation through delivered work or meaningful personal projects.
Understanding of production incident response, secure automation, reliability, and safe change management at scale.
Professional proficiency in English and strong ownership and analytical thinking for collaboration with global teams.
Experience with LLM APIs, agent or tool calling, RAG, Model Context Protocol, or orchestration tools such as LibreChat and n8n is a bonus.
Experience with GCP-native services, Cloud Build, Secret Manager, cloud networking, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, MQTT, RabbitMQ, ingress, NGINX, or Cloud Armor is a bonus.

Hybrid work model in Bucharest requiring at least 2 days per week in the office.
