Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and maintain cloud-scale security data platform components for ingestion, processing, filtering, transformation, routing, and publishing.
- Write reliable and maintainable code while contributing to code reviews, automated testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and end-to-end validation.
- Work with senior engineers, product managers, and partner teams to onboard security data sources, workflows, and publishing destinations onto the Scuba platform.
- Investigate production issues, analyze service telemetry, participate in incident response, and implement fixes and automation to improve reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.
- Develop reusable platform capabilities that improve developer productivity, deployment safety, and consistency across ingestion and publishing workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in C#, Java, or C++, along with object-oriented programming, design patterns, and multithreading.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and adaptability in ambiguous situations.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
