Responsibilities
- Own the .NET SDK end-to-end, guiding its development from architecture to product experience.
- Pioneer new features like Profiling and Session Replay for the MAUI platform.
- Design robust APIs to bridge managed .NET code with native platform behavior.
- Collaborate with maintainers of upstream packages and frameworks.
- Serve as the MAUI expert at Sentry, assisting teams and customers with complex challenges.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on .NET and mobile platforms.
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET MAUI; prior Xamarin experience is a plus.
- Solid understanding of the .NET ecosystem, including Microsoft.Extensions and dependency injection.
- Deep knowledge of managed-to-native interop layers and platform lifecycle differences.
- Experience with AI-powered development tools to enhance productivity.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to relocate to the Vienna area if not already residing there.
- Experience with other cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter is ideal.
