Staff Software Engineer - Data Platform Team, Hyderabad

- Architect and design large-scale data platform systems, including pipelines, data lakes, and serving infrastructure processing billions of events.
- Build feature platforms, training data pipelines, and model-serving infrastructure for ML and AI capabilities.
- Partner with data science and ML teams to productionize models and enable AI/GenAI-powered capabilities.
- Set technical standards for data modeling, system design, reliability, and applied AI.
- Mentor engineers and influence technical strategy and decisions across teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering building and maintaining scalable software systems.
- Extensive experience designing and shipping production-grade, large-scale data platforms.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java.
- Deep knowledge of distributed data processing with Spark, Flink, or Kafka.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP cloud data infrastructure, data lakes, and data warehouses.
- Practical experience enabling ML/AI in production through feature pipelines, model serving, or GenAI/LLM-based systems.
- Demonstrated technical leadership through setting direction, driving cross-team initiatives, and mentoring engineers.
- Experience with real-time or streaming systems at scale, MLOps tooling, modern AI/LLM frameworks, or media and high-volume consumer platforms is preferred.
