Responsibilities
- Deploy with customers globally, including approximately 50% travel, to support software integration and development.
- Become an expert user of the Hivemind enterprise software stack and autonomy modules.
- Provide technical support and customer training for Hivemind.
- Develop AI and autonomy applications using Shield AI’s enterprise software development kit.
- Assist the sales team with pre-sales demonstrations, conferences, and customer immersions.
- Support post-sales deployment and integration of Shield AI enterprise software products.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
- Debug customer software and API integration issues.
- Collaborate with product engineering to address customer feedback and improve products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and 5+ years of industry experience, or a master’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of industry experience.
- Strong technical background in software engineering.
- Strong proficiency writing modern C++ code.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred qualifications include defense, aviation, or robotics industry experience; prior customer-facing solutions, applications, or sales engineering experience; startup-like environment experience; and an advanced technical degree, especially in robotics or autonomy.
