Base Salary
$218k - $257k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end architecture and delivery of core native mobile app surfaces in Swift and Kotlin.
- Lead automated, AI-assisted code translation and define which migration work is automated versus handled through human review.
- Improve native mobile developer experience through build-speed improvements, local development workflows, CI/CD reliability, architectural patterns, and documentation.
- Design synchronization strategies and human review processes for native and React Native codebases during the migration.
- Define mobile engineering best practices, mentor L3-L5 mobile engineers, and build alignment across the mobile engineering community.
- Own mobile performance, architecture, release quality, and quality outcomes for applications serving millions of customers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of iOS or Android mobile software engineering experience using Swift/iOS or Kotlin/Android, with working proficiency in the other platform.
- Demonstrated experience shipping high-quality mobile applications at scale while owning architecture, performance budgets, and release quality.
- Deep expertise in mobile performance optimization, including cold start, frame stability, scroll jank, and time to interaction across device tiers.
- Ability to translate organizational strategy into team-level technical execution and align cross-functional partners on migration timelines and quality standards.
- Experience with AI-assisted code generation or LLM-driven development workflows, including judgment about automation and human review.
- Experience improving developer experience through build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and release tooling adopted beyond an immediate team.
- Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight and measurable workflow, cost, and quality improvements.

- Annual base salary range is $218,025–$256,500 USD, excluding equity and bonus.
