Responsibilities
- Analyze system requirements and translate them into software programming specifications.
- Develop, code, integrate, test, and debug software applications.
- Create software installation and maintenance documentation and procedures.
- Collaborate with users, developers, project managers, business analysts, project teams, and other stakeholders to deliver products and solutions.
- Deploy and troubleshoot enterprise applications and support automated build, deployment, and release processes.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and programming languages.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or at least seven years of application development or application engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least four years of experience in software development, specifically application development engineering.
- Experience with Java, C++, Python, or Ruby.
- Familiarity with Git or Jenkins.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Preferred experience with Java JEE/Jakarta EE enterprise applications.
- Preferred experience deploying and troubleshooting applications on Oracle WebLogic and/or JBoss/WildFly.
- Preferred experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
- Preferred strong Oracle SQL skills, including query development, performance tuning, and database design.
- Preferred working knowledge of PL/SQL, including stored procedures, packages, and functions.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD tools and processes and understanding of enterprise application architecture, software development best practices, and Agile development methodologies.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work without current or future employment-visa sponsorship.
- Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder working in the United States for compliance with regulations including ITAR-related requirements.
Benefits
- This position is onsite at the Cleveland Headquarters office and is not hybrid or remote.
- Travel is approximately 5%.
