Responsibilities
- Analyze system requirements and translate them into software programming specifications.
- Develop, code, integrate, test, and debug software applications using current programming languages.
- Create documentation and procedures for software installation and maintenance.
- Collaborate with users, developers, project managers, business analysts, project teams, and other stakeholders to deliver products and solutions on time.
- Deploy and support enterprise applications and stay current with emerging technologies and programming languages.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or at least 7 years of application development or application engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 4 years of software development experience, specifically in application development engineering.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or Ruby.
- Familiarity with software development tools such as Git or Jenkins.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Preferred experience with Java JEE/Jakarta EE enterprise applications, Oracle WebLogic, JBoss/WildFly, RESTful APIs and web services, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, CI/CD processes, enterprise application architecture, software development best practices, and Agile development methodologies.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work without current or future employment visa sponsorship.

- The role requires approximately 5% travel.
