Responsibilities
- Develop computer vision and machine learning systems for facial recognition and adversarial object detection.
- Translate applied research methodologies into production deployments that protect users from fraud and identity theft.
- Collaborate across ML teams, Operations, and Engineering on mission-critical initiatives.
- Make autonomous technical decisions across the research-to-implementation lifecycle.
- Mentor colleagues and communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in computer vision techniques and machine learning.
- At least 5 years of relevant Computer Vision Machine Learning experience.
- Strong programming abilities in Python and at least one additional language.
- Proven mentorship experience with demonstrated positive outcomes.
- Clear technical communication skills across a range of audiences.
- Preferred: expertise with PyTorch, TorchVision, or similar vision-specific libraries and toolkits.
- Preferred: background in security or security engineering, fraud detection, edge ML deployment, real-time decisioning, facial recognition, or biometric security.
- Preferred: M.S. or PhD in computer science, machine learning, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
