Base Salary
$185k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build services that solve complex and ambiguous problems at AWS cloud scale.
- Design and develop scalable systems that detect security issues and trigger remediation campaigns.
- Prototype and incubate new security features and solutions.
- Coordinate security improvements with development teams across AWS services.
- Deliver high-quality solutions while adapting to shifting priorities.
- Learn about emerging security threats and implement systems to protect AWS.
- Design and code features and services end-to-end in collaboration with senior engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience mentoring, serving as a technical lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Preferred: 5+ years of full software development life-cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
