Responsibilities
- Fix Drupal code-level defects, deliver hotfixes, and handle emergency deployments on Pantheon.
- Update Drupal core, contributed modules, and dependencies through Composer and apply security advisories.
- Implement functional, configuration, template, layout, and component changes.
- Build complex CMS pages across six language versions: English, German, French, Spanish, Japanese, and Korean.
- Triage requests, monitor alerts, and investigate and resolve incidents that do not require code changes.
- Troubleshoot website form, DeepL, and WordsOnline integrations.
- Implement technical SEO and GEO work including sitemaps, structured data, redirects, and Core Web Vitals improvements.
- Assess the performance, SEO, and security impact of changes and provide technical recommendations.
- Participate in release planning and weekly client service meetings as needed.
- Review the codebase, modules, themes, and custom code during the four-week transition and create an architecture map and version and risk inventory.
Requirements
- At least four years of commercial Drupal development experience, including Drupal 10.
- Strong PHP, Twig, and Drupal theming and module development skills.
- Experience with Composer-based dependency and update management and security patching.
- Experience maintaining multilingual Drupal sites.
- Experience with Git, deployment workflows, and Pantheon or a similar managed hosting platform.
- Experience debugging production issues and handling incident priorities and SLAs.
- B2+ English proficiency for written and spoken client communication.
- Preferred experience includes Pantheon Terminus, multidev and environments; technical SEO; Cloudflare; Salesforce or Marketing Cloud; DeepL or WordsOnline; Drupal 11 upgrades; Jira, Monday.com or service desk tools; JavaScript; SCSS; and basic GA4/GTM familiarity.
