Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance applications by translating requirements into technical designs, code, UI layouts, and functional components.
- Implement full-stack development across frontend, backend, and UI/UX areas throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Create and execute unit tests, conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and remediate defects.
- Design and lead complex software solutions while optimizing performance, scalability, quality, and reliability.
- Lead UI/UX improvements by collaborating with design and development teams and analyzing user feedback.
- Provide technical on-call escalation, respond to incident inquiries, and guide on-call developers.
- Mentor Associate Software Engineers and Engineer, 1 employees while providing peer coaching and technical supervision.
- Develop or maintain at least three applications using at least two programming languages, ideally three.
- Drive team initiatives such as GitHub, Copilot, or AWS migration efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- At least five years of related experience in software development, including full-stack, frontend, backend, and UI/UX engineering.
- Eight or more years of related experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in at least two programming languages, ideally three, and experience developing or maintaining multiple applications.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle, testing, code reviews, scalability, and defect remediation.
- Ability to work autonomously, provide technical guidance to peers, and demonstrate business knowledge in financial services and marketing domains.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, Microsoft Azure Functions, Microsoft Azure SQL, AWS, React.js, Angular, and Flutter SDK is listed among the desired skills.
