Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot software solutions and multiple application components.
- Write secure, high-quality code using one or more programming languages with limited guidance.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, refactoring, and documentation, while validating their outputs.
- Consider upstream and downstream systems and technical implications when developing solutions.
- Apply technical troubleshooting to solve problems of basic complexity.
- Analyze large and diverse data sets to identify problems and support decision-making.
- Learn and apply software development processes, methodologies, and skills for secure and stable systems.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least two years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to critically evaluate and validate AI-generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Exposure to agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Preferred experience with Java and Spring Boot, ReactJS or Angular, cloud platforms, Python, and RDBMS databases such as SQL Server or Oracle.
