Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify and address pain points in development, testing, and release cycles.
- Debug complex problems spanning application layers and low-level infrastructure.
- Execute code, design, and process improvements for high-quality software delivery.
- Work with cross-functional teams to plan work, identify risks, resolve issues, and deliver on schedule.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship through documentation, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar or related engineering role.
- Experience with large-scale build tools such as Bazel, Buck, Pants, Please, CMake, Make, Ninja, or SCons.
- Experience with enterprise CI/CD systems such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, Buildkite, or Spinnaker.
- Ability to design complex tools using Python and Bash.
- Preferred experience writing Starlark for build system customization.
- Preferred strong experience with C/C++ tooling, compilation, and linking processes.
- Preferred familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
