Base Salary
$250k - $315k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives on complex enterprise and mid-market deals from discovery through close.
- Lead technical discovery into customer workflows, integrations, and success criteria.
- Design and build custom demos, prototypes, proofs of concept, and MVPs that validate technical solutions and unblock deals.
- Present technical solutions to engineers, executive buyers, and other mixed audiences.
- Translate customer requirements into technical specifications and scope work for pricing, timelines, and contracts.
- Estimate engineering effort, assess feasibility, identify risks, and evaluate technical debt, integration complexity, and maintenance concerns.
- Serve as Sales’ technical operator on complex deals and share field insights to influence product and go-to-market strategy.
- Build internal tools, templates, and processes that make technical selling more repeatable and scalable.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience in product or customer-facing roles, including previous solutions engineering or sales engineering experience.
- Strong full-stack development experience with React, Node.js, APIs, and databases.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
- Ability to rapidly build functional prototypes and MVPs.
- Experience with enterprise RFPs, security reviews, procurement processes, and direct customer technical implementations.
- Experience scoping technical work and creating specifications for engineering teams.
- Ability to understand existing codebases and assess integration complexity.
- Background working autonomously in fast-moving startup environments.
- Experience with documentation tools, MDX, or content platforms is a strong plus.
- Background in developer tools, APIs, or technical products is a plus.
- Understanding of SaaS, usage-based pricing models, and contract structures is a plus.
