Base Salary
$240k - $315k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work directly with partner technical teams to guide the setup, architecture, integration, and deployment of Claude solutions.
- Build scalable pilots and repeatable workflows across partner agencies and support developer and university enablement.
- Document Claude deployment approaches for low-connectivity, multilingual, and security-conscious environments.
- Represent partner needs to Product and Research teams and help shape required capabilities.
- Travel internationally to partner institutions for technical enablement and relationship building.
- Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of innovative solutions using Anthropic’s latest models.
- Support deployments in education, cyber resiliency, global health, and other public-interest areas.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Customer Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Cybersecurity Engineer working with government, civil-sector, or public-sector organizations.
- Experience shipping software in imperfect conditions and working with infrastructure constraints.
- Experience designing novel solutions for technical platforms in developing mission areas.
- Strong technical aptitude and proficiency in at least one programming language, with Python preferred.
- Understanding of and experience with LLM fundamentals.
- Ability to work directly with partner technical teams, navigate ambiguity, and develop simple solutions across domains.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with engineers, senior government officials, and other stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field or demonstrated through relevant coursework, training, or professional experience.
Benefits
- Annual compensation range of $240,000–$315,000 USD.
- Visa sponsorship is available, with reasonable efforts made if an offer is extended, though sponsorship cannot be successfully provided for every role or candidate.
- Hybrid policy requiring staff to work from an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time, with some roles requiring more office time.
