Responsibilities
- Own the design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of AI-driven modules.
- Propose solutions informed by AI trends and emerging technologies.
- Create, design, develop, test, monitor, and operate production code autonomously.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver pragmatic end-to-end solutions.
- Design solutions with the team and remain accountable for execution.
- Understand business and user needs to provide relevant solutions.
- Mentor teammates and promote technical growth.
- Evaluate new technologies and architectures for potential application.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for critical system issues and system reliability.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Ruby, Rails, or other programming languages.
- Strong knowledge of LLMs and hands-on experience with usage, prompting, and model integration.
- Direct experience designing, developing, and deploying agentic AI systems, including AI agents and MCP prototypes or servers.
- Familiarity with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and AutoGen.
- Understanding of RAG, vector databases, reranking, and performance optimization.
- Ability to design simple, pragmatic architectures for scalable systems.
- Experience delivering software with attention to security, scalability, availability, performance, quality, and maintainability.
- Frontend application experience, preferably with React, is preferred.
- Production AWS experience, preferably with high-volume or high-availability services, is preferred.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
