Responsibilities
- Build and maintain enterprise-scale full-stack software connecting Salesforce data and Slack experiences.
- Develop performant APIs and real-time communication patterns for reliable data synchronization across platforms.
- Debug complex distributed systems and production issues spanning the full stack.
- Own code quality through testing, code reviews, technical research, architecture discussions, and deployment coordination.
- Participate in on-call rotations and help maintain application availability, performance, security, and scalability.
- Partner with product managers, architects, designers, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Lead technical designs, break complex projects into milestones, identify risks, and coordinate cross-functional delivery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend or full-stack software development.
- Experience leading technical designs, partnering with engineers, or driving engineering initiatives across teams.
- Expertise debugging complex full-stack systems and troubleshooting production issues.
- Experience with enterprise software development, including security, performance optimization, and compliance requirements.
- Experience building and operating distributed systems at scale, including eventual consistency, fault tolerance, and high availability.
- Ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and real-time patterns such as webhooks, websockets, and event-driven architectures.
- Strong production Java experience and understanding of JVM-based systems.
- Ability to incorporate AI tools into coding, debugging, and documentation workflows while retaining independent technical judgment.
- Preferred experience with Salesforce development, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce APIs, Slack apps, Slack APIs, observability, complex integrations, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Vue, real-time systems, generative AI APIs, Salesforce Einstein AI, or Hack.
