Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and develop SAP S/4HANA order management extensions and services using RAP, ABAP Cloud, CDS, clean-core principles, and released APIs.
- Build side-by-side CAP applications and services on SAP Business Technology Platform using Node.js and/or Java.
- Develop SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and Fiori Elements applications and publish secure OData V2/V4 and REST APIs.
- Design, implement, operate, and support SAP Integration Suite integrations using Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh, and Open Connectors.
- Build and maintain Cloud Integration iFlows with scripting, mappings, adapters, error handling, and reprocessing patterns.
- Integrate SAP S/4HANA with legacy order systems, dealer-facing channels, logistics providers, and enterprise platforms using technologies including IDoc, SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP, JMS, Kafka, BAPI, RFC, and PI/PO.
- Implement API security, event-driven integration, asynchronous processing, idempotency, and business-event-driven patterns.
- Own end-to-end quality through code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring, performance tuning, release management, production support, and root-cause analysis.
- Create technical documentation and operational runbooks, troubleshoot production issues, and mentor colleagues on SAP engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, business information systems, or a related technical discipline; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP development experience, including at least 3 years with SAP S/4HANA.
- Demonstrated experience building and supporting enterprise SAP applications, integrations, or order management solutions.
- Strong experience building productive RAP applications with behavior definitions and implementations, CDS view entities, projection views, metadata extensions, draft-enabled scenarios, and business events.
- Strong ABAP Cloud and ABAP for Cloud Development experience, including released APIs, restricted ABAP language versions, clean-core principles, and extensibility trade-offs.
- Advanced Core Data Services experience, including annotations, associations, access controls, code pushdown, performance-aware modeling, and AMDP where appropriate.
- Experience developing CAP applications with CDS modeling, service definitions, custom handlers, authentication and authorization, and multitenancy awareness.
- Experience with SAP BTP services and tooling, including Cloud Foundry and/or Kyma, SAP HANA Cloud, Business Application Studio, MTA deployment, and connectivity services.
- Experience designing and operating SAP Integration Suite Cloud Integration iFlows, including scripts, mappings, adapters, error handling, and reprocessing.
- Experience with API Management, OAuth 2.0, mutual TLS, SAML, JWT, API proxies, policies, and rate limiting.
- Experience with SAP Event Mesh, Advanced Event Mesh, or comparable messaging technologies.
- Experience with Git-based development, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code reviews, enterprise security, data protection, and compliance.
- Ability to work independently, solve complex problems, manage changing priorities, collaborate cross-functionally, and communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
- Preferred qualifications include graduate education, SAP SD/MM order-to-cash knowledge, automotive aftersales or dealer-network experience, SAP certifications, cloud-platform experience, Kubernetes, observability tooling, SAP Fiori/SAPUI5/Fiori Elements, and German or Spanish language skills.
