Base Salary

$138k - $185k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver secure, scalable software solutions.
  • Write, review, debug, and maintain high-quality production code.
  • Lead adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices for coding, code review, testing, troubleshooting, and incident analysis.
  • Apply software development lifecycle tools and automation to improve delivery and operational outcomes.
  • Identify and automate recurring remediation opportunities to improve application and system stability.
  • Lead technical evaluation sessions with vendors, startups, and internal teams regarding architecture and system integration.
  • Coach engineers on secure, responsible, and compliant use of AI-assisted development tools.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 5 years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Advanced software design skills and proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Java.
  • Experience with Spring, AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, MQ, Cassandra, Oracle, PowerMock, JMeter, Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace, and Jenkins.
  • Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods and strong understanding of application resiliency and security.
  • Experience with cloud-native technologies, Amazon Web Services, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, and message queuing systems.
  • Experience leading enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Understanding of responsible AI practices, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, and compliant engineering workflows.
  • Preferred experience with Gemfire, Redis, Cucumber, Spinnaker, Postgres, Oracle, Mongo DB, and AI-assisted coding.
  • Strong client relationship, technical communication, ownership, and end-to-end delivery skills.
