Base Salary
$115k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build real-time distributed systems for platform observability, supervision, and automated operational response.
- Develop systems that collect metrics and logs, evaluate service health, escalate issues, and trigger scaling or recovery actions.
- Design distributed control loops with strict latency, correctness, availability, and scalability requirements.
- Own components through architecture, implementation, deployment, and production operation.
- Support large-scale, mission-critical OCI service infrastructure across regions.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical field involving coding, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of full-time professional software development experience.
- Strong coding ability in Java, GoLang, or similar programming languages.
- Experience delivering products across the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience with large-scale, highly distributed services infrastructure.
- Experience operating in a mission-critical, tier-one live-site environment.
- Ability to design architectures demonstrating deep technical depth or broad cross-product impact, including high availability, scalability, flexibility, and market-leading capabilities.
- Systematic problem-solving approach, strong communication skills, ownership, and drive.
