Base Salary
$105k - $133k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, write, debug, and refine networked gameplay systems and features.
- Create limited-time events, seasons, quests, daily activities, and social experiences that support player retention and engagement.
- Iterate quickly based on testing feedback and ongoing design refinement.
- Provide technical insight and ideas related to game design.
- Collaborate with designers and backend engineers on real-time and asynchronous features.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of relevant programming experience in the game industry.
- Excellent 3D vector math skills and knowledge of a 3D art tool such as Maya.
- Experience building gameplay systems and tools that allow designers to author content.
- Fluency in C, C++, or C# and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with scripting languages and multiple data formats such as Lua and JSON.
- MMO experience.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, problem-solving, and responsiveness to feedback and iterative design.
- Python programming, backend languages such as Go, Erlang, or PL/SQL, persistent account data systems, synchronous multiplayer, live-service multiplayer games, and mobile game experience are preferred.

- Applicants should provide a portfolio link if available or describe the features they worked on, and must complete a gameplay test.
