Responsibilities
- Develop AI applications and translate business ideas and technology requirements into IT plans, software architectures, and code.
- Monitor technology trends and conduct research and development activities in AI and ML.
- Apply modern AI and generative AI best practices.
- Develop, validate, deploy, and monitor AI models.
- Analyze and rank machine learning algorithms according to their likelihood of success for a given problem.
- Establish and maintain development standards and best practices.
- Integrate applications through REST APIs and work with cloud, database, SAP, big data, and MLOps technologies.
- Share machine learning engineering practices and knowledge with the team.
- Explore and visualize data and identify distribution differences that could affect real-world model performance.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in AI development.
- Strong programming skills, including Python and knowledge of machine learning, data, and API libraries.
- Experience developing and working with AI models.
- Experience with cloud computing, including Azure, AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience integrating applications through REST APIs.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database techniques.
- Experience with deep learning technologies including TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or XGBoost.
- Experience with agentic AI development frameworks, protocols, and agent-to-agent interoperability.
- Strong engineering mathematics skills, including advanced linear algebra, probability, and statistics.
- Interest in understanding functional and industry business challenges.
- Preferred: expertise in big data and data modeling.
- Preferred: experience with SAP platforms, including SAP GenAI Hub, SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad, SAP DataSphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Preferred: understanding of AI capabilities in SAP Business Data Cloud and Databricks.
- Preferred: experience with MLOps.
- Self-starter, independent thinker, curious and creative, with ambition and passion.
