Base Salary
$150k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the design, development, implementation, and ongoing operation of infrastructure and build/release pipelines.
- Improve pipeline speed, security, performance, scalability, and automation using Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Go.
- Operate cloud-based CI/CD pipelines using DevSecOps and shift-left practices.
- Automate application deployments with Kubernetes, GitHub, and other CI/CD tools.
- Build and package software for AWS, Azure, GCP, on-premises, air-gapped, edge, and FedRAMP environments.
- Integrate DevSecOps tools and services across customer software development lifecycles.
- Implement observability for metrics, events, logs, and traces, including presentation and alerting.
- Expose secure public UIs and APIs using load balancers, CDNs, and related tools.
- Collaborate with Product on roadmap direction and help developers deliver secure applications.
- Support application and API security engineering, including CORS policies.
Requirements
- Experience routinely developing and deploying infrastructure as code and automation for platform and customer needs.
- Experience operating cloud-based CI/CD pipelines with shift-left and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience automating application deployments with container technology in cloud environments.
- Experience building tools and packaging software for cloud, on-premises, air-gapped, and other runtime environments.
- Experience integrating DevSecOps tools into automated pipelines across the SDLC.
- Experience deploying and operating applications with Kubernetes in cloud environments.
- Prior experience with commercial SaaS and on-premises software products serving external or third-party customers.
- Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Go, Kubernetes, networking, runtime troubleshooting, load balancers, and CDNs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical and design documentation.
- Bonus experience includes edge Kubernetes deployment, Zarf, Packer, virtual appliances, AWS and Kubernetes security, FedRAMP, CMMC, SCA, DAST, SAST, self-hosted LLMs, bug bounty programs, and software vulnerability management.
