Responsibilities
- Understand and improve trading desk operational workflows.
- Design and maintain technological infrastructure and automated solutions.
- Monitor proprietary trading systems and maintain critical databases.
- Develop new workflows for trading strategies in collaboration with desk heads.
- Identify inefficiencies and create quantitative tools to enhance technology.
- Facilitate trade transactions and ensure accurate booking and settlement.
- Manage communications with internal and external operational groups.
- Train junior team members on operational structure and technology.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
- Two years of experience in Trading Desk Operations or related role.
- Experience with trading desk activities, including trade booking and settlement.
- Proficiency in OCaml, including functional programming and concurrent operations.
- Experience in collecting market information for traders.
- Series 7, Series 57, and Series SIE licenses required.
