Responsibilities

Evolve infrastructure solutions addressing reliability, latency, bandwidth, and security challenges.
Improve observability, monitoring, and alerting across the platform.
Coordinate work across company teams to improve execution efficiency.
Centralize duplicated infrastructure and operational work across developer teams.
Build scalable tooling to replace manual and repetitive processes.
Develop an in-depth understanding of product infrastructure needs and guide developer teams on secure, scalable delivery.

Experience with containerization and service orchestration, including security best practices; HashiCorp Nomad, Consul, and Vault experience is preferred.
Strong knowledge of at least one programming language; Golang, Python, and Bash experience is preferred.
Knowledge of Linux resource allocation, networking, or system internals.
Experience with cloud solutions such as GCP or AWS.
Demonstrable experience with monitoring tools including Prometheus, Datadog, Grafana, or Telegraf.
Experience with infrastructure as code tools; complex Terraform deployments are preferred.
Background with configuration management tools; SaltStack experience is preferred.
Experience using GitOps and CI, preferably GitHub Actions.
Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka and with database management.
Data center experience and knowledge of routing and switching protocols are preferred.

Full-time salary based on experience and meaningful equity.
