Responsibilities
- Develop, design, code, debug, maintain, test, implement, and validate applications throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop basic to moderately complex front-end or back-end code for internal and external client software solutions.
- Create program specifications, application documentation, deliverables, and implementation plans.
- Analyze and modify applications, databases, code changes, and unit tests.
- Perform testing and validation, correct code deficiencies, and escalate alternative proposals when appropriate.
- Apply application standards, development procedures, and Payment Card Industry security compliance.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams and resolve moderately complex operational and technical issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Typically at least 2 years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data.
- Knowledge and use of two or more modern enterprise programming languages or technologies.
- Experience working with APIs, external services, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with IBM Rational Tools is listed as an additional qualification.
- Knowledge across multiple technology domains, including operating systems, databases, programming languages, web and mobile development technologies, and machine learning frameworks.
