Base Salary
$200k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Embed with customers and operators to understand supply-chain workflows and design agents that automate meaningful work.
- Build production agent systems using tool use, sub-agents, retrieval, structured outputs, MCP servers, and orchestration on frontier LLMs.
- Own evaluation using real production traces, datasets, rubrics, graders, experiments, and measurable improvements.
- Architect the data, services, and APIs supporting the agent layer and integrate with customer WMS, TMS, and ERP environments.
- Create repeatable deployment patterns that accelerate future customer rollouts.
- Partner with the CTO, product, and operations teams to take ideas from initial concept to scaled deployments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- 1+ year shipping LLM- or agent-based features into production.
- Strong Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js skills.
- Experience designing APIs, distributed systems, and data models in PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience with production-scale prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, orchestration patterns, and frontier model APIs.
- Track record of building in fast, ambiguous environments, ideally at a vertical AI, AI-agent, forward-deployed, or data-product company.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to run customer workshops and write design documentation.
