Base Salary
$150k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build customer-facing AI-powered product features end-to-end using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python.
- Translate LLM, RAG, agentic workflow, and structured reasoning capabilities into intuitive product interactions.
- Partner with AI Engineers to define API contracts and output schemas.
- Build feedback loops and observability for AI output quality, latency, engagement, task completion, and drop-off.
- Implement streaming and real-time interfaces with graceful degradation and human-in-the-loop interaction patterns.
- Establish reusable streaming hooks, feedback components, and AI state-management patterns.
- Mentor engineers and participate in technical and cross-functional design reviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a record of shipping full-stack production features.
- 2+ years of experience building AI-powered product features.
- Strong React and TypeScript proficiency, including responsive interfaces handling asynchronous, streaming, and real-time data.
- Solid Python and Node.js skills and experience designing and consuming APIs for LLM providers, orchestration frameworks, or AI services.
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI and Anthropic, prompt engineering, context management, RAG, quality/evaluation systems, and structured outputs.
- Familiarity with agent frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, or custom runtimes.
- Experience implementing SSE, WebSockets, or chunked HTTP streaming and interfaces for progressive or uncertain outputs.
- Strong product and user-experience judgment and experience collaborating with AI/ML engineers, product managers, and designers.
- Preferred experience in compliance, security, GRC, document-heavy enterprise domains, MCP, RAG system design, or AI feedback and annotation tooling.
