Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, and maintain enterprise Java-based applications across the software development lifecycle.
- Build scalable backend services, RESTful and GraphQL APIs, microservices, event-driven services, and cloud-native applications.
- Develop and maintain frontend components using JavaScript frameworks, HTML5, and CSS.
- Use Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for service orchestration.
- Implement automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Participate in Agile and Scrum processes, sprint delivery, technical standards, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Troubleshoot complex coding, application performance, and design issues and conduct root-cause analysis.
- Use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency and propose AI-informed product approaches.
- Communicate progress, manage escalations, and identify and mitigate technical and delivery risks.
- Streamline or automate recurring processes across architecture, build, delivery, production operations, and business areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology.
- Minimum of 8 years of software development experience.
- Strong experience with Java, JavaScript frameworks such as React, Spring Boot, and Oracle.
- Knowledge of modern application architecture, data structures, object-oriented programming, service-oriented architecture, microservices, event-driven services, and cloud-native development.
- Experience with JavaScript, React, HTML5, CSS, Java, Python, SQL, PL/SQL, relational databases, REST, and GraphQL.
- Experience designing and implementing high-performance RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency with build, deployment, containerization, orchestration, and CI/CD tools including Maven, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, and OpenShift.
- AWS experience is considered an advantage.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA.
- Experience developing and automating unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Experience with code versioning tools including GitHub Enterprise.
- Practical experience using AI tools for development workflows and awareness of the evolving AI landscape.
