Senior Engineer I, Embedded Software Design
Schneider ElectricResponsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware in C/C++ for RTOS-based real-time systems.
- Implement and optimize TCP/IP, Modbus, SPI, I2C, and RS-485 communication protocols.
- Own the end-to-end firmware lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, debugging, and unit testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality products on schedule.
- Diagnose and resolve complex system-level issues reported from field deployments and customers.
- Apply advanced debugging techniques and drive improvements in development processes, tools, and engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (EEE/ECE) or equivalent.
- 6–9 years of hands-on experience in embedded firmware development.
- Proven experience debugging and resolving customer-reported issues.
- Strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, and independent troubleshooting skills.
