Responsibilities
- Build, operate, and evolve the internal AI Engineering Platform and services supporting AI-assisted and agentic software engineering.
- Develop reusable platform capabilities for developer enablement, automation, observability, package management, code quality, and engineering governance.
- Design and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure using OpenTofu or Terraform.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub.
- Create self-service automation for engineering workflows and platform operations.
- Implement monitoring, telemetry, logging, tracing, and metrics while supporting production platform services.
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Architects, Platform Engineers, and software teams to improve developer experience and platform adoption.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- Experience building or operating shared engineering platforms or internal developer platforms.
- Strong Microsoft Azure experience and experience with Docker and containerized workloads.
- Experience with OpenTofu or Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
- Strong scripting skills with PowerShell, Python, or Bash and experience designing reusable automation solutions.
- Experience with observability platforms such as Datadog, Azure Monitor, Grafana, or Prometheus, plus telemetry, logging, distributed tracing, and production platform support.
- Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices and experience collaborating with multiple engineering teams.
- Preferred experience with GitHub Copilot, AI-assisted software development tools, internal developer platforms, developer experience capabilities, SonarQube, package management platforms, engineering governance tooling, vector databases, RAG, LLMs, AI engineering platforms, or enterprise service management practices.
