Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise applications aligned with functional and technical requirements.
- Design, build, and implement high-availability APIs and microservices.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from analysis through production implementation.
- Reduce technical debt and improve solution maintainability through refactoring and engineering improvements.
- Design scalable event-driven, microservices-based, and cloud-native solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and promote secure development practices.
- Design testing strategies and continuously improve quality coverage.
- Optimize queries and data models for relational and NoSQL databases.
- Resolve complex incidents and provide specialized technical support.
- Participate in digital transformation and technology modernization initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and semi-senior developers.
Requirements
- More than 6 years of professional software development experience with Java.
- Strong experience with Java JDK 11 and 17, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, WebFlux, JDBC, and JPA.
- Experience developing microservices and designing and implementing REST and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of OpenAPI, Swagger, and Quarkus.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and Apache Kafka for integration and event processing.
- Experience with reactive and functional programming, Maven, and Gradle.
- Experience with unit testing using a BDD approach.
- Knowledge of code review, secure programming, refactoring, SonarQube, and UML modeling.
- Experience with Redis Cache, HashiCorp Vault, SQL Server, Azure SQL, MongoDB or Cosmos DB, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Experience with Azure API Management, Azure Application Gateway, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Blob Storage.
- Desirable experience with JavaScript, Node.js, AWS, Dynatrace, Docker Swarm, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.
- Desirable knowledge of serverless architectures, OWASP, penetration testing, automated vulnerability analysis, NoSQL design, data warehousing, SRE concepts, networking, and infrastructure as code.
- Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, solve complex problems, provide technical leadership and mentoring, collaborate, adapt, and communicate complex solutions clearly.
