Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise applications aligned with functional and technical requirements.
- Design, build, and implement highly available APIs and microservices.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from analysis through production implementation.
- Reduce technical debt and improve solution maintainability through refactoring and design practices.
- Apply design patterns and event-driven architectures to build scalable solutions.
- Design and implement microservices and cloud-based solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and promote secure development practices.
- Design testing strategies and continuously improve quality coverage.
- Optimize queries and relational and NoSQL data models.
- Resolve complex incidents and provide specialized technical support.
- Participate in digital transformation and technology modernization initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and semi-senior developers.
Requirements
- More than six years of professional software development experience with Java.
- Strong experience with Java JDK 11 and 17, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, WebFlux, JDBC, and JPA.
- Experience developing microservices and designing and implementing APIs.
- Knowledge of OpenAPI, Swagger, and Quarkus.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and Apache Kafka for event integration and processing.
- Experience with reactive and functional programming.
- Experience using Maven and Gradle.
- Experience with unit testing under a BDD approach.
- Knowledge of code review, secure programming, refactoring, SonarQube, and UML modeling.
- Experience with Redis Cache and Hashicorp Vault.
- Experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, MongoDB, and CosmosDB.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).
- Experience with Azure API Management (APIM), Azure Application Gateway, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Blob Storage.
- Experience developing cloud-native solutions.
- Preferred experience with JavaScript, Node.js, serverless architectures, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Dynatrace, OWASP, penetration testing, automated vulnerability analysis, Docker Swarm, Databricks, network protocols and components, advanced NoSQL database design, and ACID and BASE concepts.
- Strong autonomy, communication, analytical thinking, complex problem-solving, technical leadership, mentoring, collaboration, adaptability, and continuous learning skills.
