Base Salary
$125k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Invent tools and processes for fast and accurate development and deployment systems.
- Provide comprehensive software validation through various testing platforms.
- Monitor and analyze data to support continuous integration and release systems.
- Integrate and troubleshoot across the entire Starlink stack.
- Create and manage core infrastructure such as databases and software libraries.
- Identify improvement areas and develop innovative solutions for high developer velocity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a STEM discipline and 1+ years of software development experience, or 3+ years of professional experience in software development without a degree.
- Development experience in Python, Go, or C++.
- Preferred experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering, or systems administration.
- Strong understanding of testing, continuous integration, and deployment processes.
- Familiarity with technologies like Bazel, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps, and ArgoCD.
- Fluency in Python and strong debugging, performance optimization, and unit testing skills.
- Experience managing large-scale systems and developing software for real-world applications.
- Exceptional analytical skills and a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment with changing needs.
