Base Salary
$125k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain flight code generation tooling for flight software and GNC engineers.
- Maintain core flight software features shared across various satellite products.
- Collaborate with flight software developers to identify and fix slow or error-prone aspects of embedded software development.
- Invent tools and processes for fast, accurate, and user-friendly development and operational systems.
- Engage with ground software teams to simplify constellation operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a STEM discipline, or 2+ years of software development experience.
- Development experience in C/C++, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Knowledge of Bazel, C++, Python, and Bash is preferred.
- Experience in identifying and improving performance bottlenecks in build systems and embedded environments.
- Ability to design user-friendly interfaces for software engineers.
- Experience with version control, continuous integration, and continuous delivery systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in dynamic environments.
