Responsibilities

  • Build and operate scalable infrastructure for real-time communication services used by millions of users.
  • Design and implement AI-assisted agentic workflows for planning, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Partner with engineering, product, and platform teams to deliver reliable end-to-end solutions.
  • Use AI agents for code development, validation, root-cause analysis, service upgrades, and operational readiness.
  • Work on large-scale streaming and real-time communications technologies supporting collaboration and Copilot experiences.
  • Contribute to modernization involving Linux, ARM, cloud-native architectures, and intelligent automation platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
  • Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree with 6+ years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with distributed systems, databases, cloud-native architectures, large-scale distributed cloud services, and reliability automation.
  • Experience building or integrating AI-powered developer tools, copilots, agents, workflow automation systems, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and agent orchestration frameworks.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, GitOps, CI/CD automation, infrastructure-as-code, Kubernetes, cloud-native platforms, observability, and automated incident response workflows.

Benefits

  • The typical base pay range across Canada is CAD $114,400–$203,900 per year.
