Responsibilities
- Develop software according to specifications, including software requirements specifications and interface designs.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and collaborative problem-solving as part of a team.
- Contribute ideas and improvements to development processes and the technology stack.
- Write unit and functional tests and contribute to software quality assurance.
- Assist with estimations, task planning, and time management.
- Learn and share knowledge about new tools, frameworks, and development practices.
Requirements
- Around three years of experience as a software engineer or developer, ideally across several recent projects.
- Experience with modern programming languages such as Python, C#, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.
- A bachelor's degree, college diploma, or equivalent experience in a software-related field.
- Comfort working in both French and English.
- Interest in both front-end and back-end development.
- Proficiency in full-stack web development, a modern client-side framework or library such as React, Angular, or Svelte, automated testing, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud platforms, containerization or virtualization, mobile app development, microservices architecture, or advanced design patterns is considered an asset.
