Responsibilities
- Collect, contribute to, and document feature and component requirements.
- Design, implement, and document software subsystems and code.
- Develop and execute unit, functional, automated, and product tests.
- Analyze, debug, correct, and document software anomalies and test results.
- Participate in reviews of requirements, designs, code, test cases, and documentation.
- Contribute to software-development practices, tools, and test-automation improvements.
- Research technologies and standards to solve engineering challenges.
- Communicate design concepts and collaborate with global engineering teams.
- Work with complex control-system concepts and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Typically four years of relevant technical experience.
- Experience in a software product development environment.
- Experience with C++, C#, and TypeScript.
- Experience with Qt, .NET, and React.
- Experience creating, configuring, and managing Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker infrastructure.
- Experience designing and maintaining applications using MariaDB, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience using AI models for design, debugging, and implementation.
- Experience creating or updating GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code.
- Experience documenting and reviewing designs.
- Familiarity with Linux or WSL.
- A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field is preferred.
