Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and platform services.
- Build backend services and APIs and develop performant frontend interfaces.
- Provide architectural direction, evaluate technical trade-offs, and guide platform evolution.
- Establish engineering standards and promote best practices in software design, testing, and documentation.
- Collaborate with product, QA, ML, systems, and other cross-functional teams.
- Drive technical discussions, identify risks, remove blockers, and support delivery timelines.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Implement scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures across the stack.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, triage production issues, and conduct root-cause analysis.
- Contribute to deployment pipelines, observability tools, and platform operational excellence.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of full-stack engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency with Node.js, React, and TypeScript.
- Experience leading engineering projects or teams in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of system design, API architecture, cloud environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience building scalable platforms handling large datasets or complex workflows.
- Experience with data-intensive applications, imagery/video pipelines, or AI-integrated systems.
- Familiarity with microservices architectures, containerization, and distributed systems.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
