Base Salary

$150k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

Own and deliver quarterly goals for the engineering team.
Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics throughout the product development lifecycle.
Identify and advocate for solutions to project, process, technology, or business issues.
Monitor and support the operations and availability of team artifacts.
Set and improve code review and design standards for the team.
Provide feedback and guidance to develop talent within the team.

4+ years of experience in designing and developing backend systems at scale using Python or Kotlin.
Experience with highly available distributed systems using AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, data modeling, and service-oriented architecture.
Ability to define technical plans for significant features or system components.
Proficient in making significant changes in a large code base safely.
Demonstrated ownership of personal growth and proactive feedback seeking.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
