Member of Technical Staff - Portworx Enterprise
Pure StorageResponsibilities
- Develop, test, and integrate scalable microservices and product features for the Portworx SaaS platform.
- Lead software lifecycle activities including architectural design, code reviews, testing, documentation, and deployment.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineering peers, and early-adopter customers to deliver production-ready software.
- Own feature stability, incorporate customer feedback, and resolve issues found during testing and deployment.
- Research emerging technologies and cloud infrastructure tools to improve software performance and capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of professional experience designing, building, and deploying production-grade product components using Go, Java, or C++.
- Experience with microservices architecture, cloud deployments, and distributed systems design.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and maintainable software engineering principles.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional engineering environments.
- Preferred experience with Kubernetes and containers, including Kubernetes Control Plane development.
- Preferred experience implementing authentication and authorization frameworks, including SSO, LDAP, RBAC, and OAuth.
- Preferred experience with e-commerce marketplace integration, SaaS billing, usage reporting, telemetry systems, or public-facing SDKs.
